The Institute published, in 1999, The Lessons of Jonestown – an ethnopsychoanalytic study of suicidal communities (ISBN 88-87753-00-8) by Domenico A. Nesci. Free copies have been delivered to Australian Californian, and Canadian psychoanalysts. The book is not for sale but can only be donated. Since 2000, two new formats for continuing medical education have been created: the “Associative Workshop” and the “Workshop Movies and Dreams” from which a television format (“Doppio Sogno” = “Double Dream” © I.I.P.R.T.H.P.) was produced in collaboration with RAISAT and the Cine TV Institute of Rome. In 2002 a school of psychoanalytic psychotherapy (S.I.P.S.I.) was founded and recognized by the Italian Ministery of Research and University (MIUR). The Institute is involved in the organization of Courses in Psycho-Oncology at the Medical School of the Università Cattolica del S. Cuore, in Rome. Thanks to the sponsorship of the Fondazione Roma Terzo Settore, the Institute promoted a Competition for tuition for the academic year 2010-2011 for the Course in Psycho-Oncology “Formazione dei Formatori”.
